Moultonborough Estate Builders
Monday, July 6, 7pm
Moultonborough Library
Cristina Ashjian, Chair of the Historical and Cultural Resource Committee, will speak on Moultonborough's significant country estates. The lecture will focus on the Greene brothers estates on Long Island (Roxmont and Windermere), Dumaresq's Kona Farm on Moultonborough Neck, and Plant's Lucknow in the Ossipee Mountains, known today as the Castle in the Clouds.

Historic Homes & Summer Gardens of Hancock
Sponsored by the Hancock Woman's Club
Saturday, July 18, 10am-4pm
Hancock, NH
Guests will be offered the opportunity to visit five 18th Century homes and an adaptation of a mid 1800's New England connected farmhouse, as well as five gardens ranging from formal to off-the-grid. The Hancock Historical Society will be open featuring a special exhibit, "Summer in Hancock," highlighting Hancock as a summer retreat in the late 19th century. Other highlights will include an Art Show & Sale and live music on the green.
Fee: Advance purchase - $20 or two for $30, Day of - $25, Optional $10 lunch.

New Hampshire Boat Museum's Third Annual Boathouse Tour
Thursday, August 13, 10am-4pm
Wolfeboro
Enjoy a tour of beautiful boathouses in the Wolfeboro area on the big lake, by land or water in a vintage wooden boat.

Newbury's Historic Treasures: Our Lake Lodges and Farmhouses
Saturday, August 15, 9am-4pm
Newbury
Sponsored by the Newbury Center Meetinghouse Restoration Committee in association with the NHPA. The tour will include eight historic homes in the beautiful Lake Sunapee region: two Adirondack and two Victorian style cottages on Lake Sunapee, three farms in South Newbury (one a working farm), and a Federal home with original Moses Eaton stencils and Rufus Porter murals. Proceeds support preservation of the Newbury Center Meetinghouse. read more

Living History Event
Friday - Sunday, August 21-23
Historic Hillsborough, NH
Join in a delightful, interactive living history experience depicting the unique history of a New England town. There will be period artisans, musicians, historical figures, dancers, crafters, children's activities and more! Hosted by the Hillsborough Main Street Program & the Hillsborough Historical Society.
