25th Anniversary Fund
This year we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and a proud record of accomplishment. Protected farms, revitalized main street buildings, meetinghouses and schools. Tools like the Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) and tax incentives. Community leaders inspired by a “save” and motivated to do more. Do-it-yourselfers investing in homes and barns across the state.
Our organizational growth has been noteworthy too. In the past decade, the Preservation Alliance has increased its annual budget from $100,000 to $450,000 through sound fiscal management, diversified revenue, low administrative costs and no debt. Today, our first-ever endowment, contributed by our members following the Preservation Alliance’s 20th anniversary, provides seed monies for preservation services, public policy and new ventures.
As we prepare for even greater results in the next quarter-century, the Board of Directors hope that you will make a gift to our new 25th Anniversary Fund to create a vibrant operating reserve fund that will ensure the strength and stability of our mission, programs and operations in the years ahead. We appreciate your generous support over time and hope you can propel us toward our goal of $100,000; over 60% has been raised to date.
The Preservation Alliance is uniquely positioned to protect, renew and re-use historic structures and help local, state and national opinion-makers connect preservation practices to housing, transportation, community development and energy conservation goals. As the public sector adjusts to budget constraints and increased workloads, we look forward to meeting the growing demand for services from volunteer groups, local officals, and professional partners to achieve even greater preservation successes in the future.
