2025 Statewide Preservation Conference & Seven to Save Announcement
Oct. 2, 2025, Exeter
We had an amazing time catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and discussing preservation strategies throughout the day.
Conference overview
The day’s events were held in Exeter’s vibrant downtown area at its central and historic Town Hall (photo to the left), the 18th century Congregational Church, and the Exeter Historical Society building. Ongoing and successfully completed preservation projects from Exeter and across the state were highlighted through the day’s educational sessions. We also offered a chance to join tours of Exeter’s historic downtown and sites such as the American Independence Museum.
What we did
We spent the day offering strategies for some of the biggest challenges old building stewards, community organizers, and preservation advocates face. Sessions provided attendees with the right tools to tackle projects and help find a path to success. We also heard some of the biggest success stories from past Seven to Save listees and learned about the newest group of endangered and important properties. The day was designed so attendees leave with helpful information, contacts, and a dose of new energy.
