Ticket pricing starts at $75 for N.H. Preservation Alliance members, and $85 for non-members. Early bird pricing is in effect through September 12.  Additional discounts are available for students, Preservation Alliance members, Plan NH members, presenters, volunteers, speakers, as well as current and past Seven to Save listees.

Conference overview

The day’s events will be hosted in Exeter’s vibrant downtown area at its central and historic Town Hall (photo to the left), the 18th century Congregational Church, and the Exeter Historical Society building. Ongoing and successfully completed preservation projects from Exeter and across the state will be highlighted through the day’s educational sessions. You’ll also get a chance to join tours of Exeter’s historic downtown and sites such as the American Independence Museum.

What to expect

We’ll spend the day offering strategies for some of the biggest challenges old building stewards, community organizers, and preservation advocates face. Sessions will provide attendees with the right tools to tackle projects and help find a path to success. We’ll also hear some of the biggest success stories from past Seven to Save listees and learn about the newest group of endangered and important properties. The day is designed so attendees leave with helpful information, contacts, and a dose of new energy.

Who can benefit?

Members of historic district commissions, heritage commissions, historical societies, and municipal planning boards will find the day’s sessions to be helpful and instructive and we encourage you to sign up and spread the word to your fellow commissioners and board members. Our conference also provides information and networking for preservation advocates, practitioners and investors, students, community leaders, planners, architects, and design and construction professionals.
